Who is Jam Band Station?

We’re Heather and Sky, the husband-and-wife team behind Jam Band Station. We design, print, embroider, and make our products ourselves in our Missouri home studio, with a focus on jam-inspired art, festival gear, patches, shirts, and whatever else catches our imagination. Everything we create follows a hands-on, human-made process, from the first idea through printing, embroidery, and finishing in our home studio.

We’re lifelong music fans and have been on the bus for decades, with the Grateful Dead and the wider jam scene woven into a big part of our lives. This shop is very much by fans, for fans, and a lot of what we create comes from the music, memories, humor, and culture that has stayed with us over the years. Just as important, we have a lot of love for the wider community that has grown around that music and the sense of connection, creativity, and belonging that comes with it.

Music isn’t our only obsession, though. We’re both avid gamers, and Heather is a quilter and fiber artist, so you may also find designs inspired by gaming, quilting, sewing, cryptids, and whatever other rabbit hole we happen to wander down. One of the best parts of having our own shop is being able to make merchandise we’d want to find ourselves.

We’re currently rebuilding Jam Band Station from the ground up, bringing back old favorites while adding new designs all the time. As the shop grows, we’ll also be sharing more of the space, tools, and behind-the-scenes process that goes into making everything.
